Voidceremony

VoidCeremony plays a form of old school 90s style technical death metal with black metal and fusion influences. Formed in 2013 by Garrett Johnson “Wandering Mind” and founding Ascended Dead frontman Jon Reider “Serpent of the Flame”. The band self-released their demo, Dystheism, in 2014, soon to be picked up by Blood Harvest for distribution. The first demo rereleased on 7” vinyl, which started the worldwide phenomenon. In 2016 the band recorded their first real studio effort, Foul Origins of Humanity, which hit 12” vinyl and CD in 2017, featuring future drummer Dylan Marks (Atheist, Fermentor).

VoidCeremony embarked on their first tour in 2018, followed by recording their first full-length record with Charlie Koryn (Morbid Angel, Incantation) on drums. In 2019, the band was signed by legendary underground label 20 Buck Spin. By 2020, the 2018 album “Entropic Reflections Continuum: Dimensional Unravel” released and it quickly found critical success in the underground from nearly every continent. A followup featuring Phil Tougas released in 2023 “Threads of Unknowing” and made found more raging cacophony through the underground with the best record sales in the band’s history.

Now it is 2025, Dylan Marks has returned along with guitarist Jayson McGeehee and a new album freshly recorded slated for a summer release by 20 Buck Spin. VoidCeremony is ready to hit the road in the US and Europe.

Fermentor

Fermentor is a San Diego-based two-piece instrumental metal band formed in 2008 by drummer Dylan Marks (Atheist, Beekeeper) and guitarist Adam “Wally” Wollach (Beekeeper, TrashAxis). Stripping away the comforts of a traditional band infrastructure, Fermentor relies solely on communicating through only two elements; drums and guitar. The two instruments acting more like contrapuntal voices, rather than just rhythm and melody.
